Cara vecchia e intramontabile Sportster, la vediamo in tutte le salse, da ssempre un modello versatile e direi il più modificato.
Qui vediamo una versione Cafe Racer chiamata “Centennial” realizzata dai ragazzi di DP Custom su un modello del 99, ispirata al centenario dello stato dell’Arizona, stato in cui vive il proprietario di questa special e lo vediamo anche dai colori scelti per vestirla.
Non è stata ricreata da zero, ma apportate solo piccole modifiche per contenere il budget come chiesto dal cliente, ma nonostante questo il risultato è piacevole, e pulito come sempre fanno i ragazzi di DP Custom. Telaio tagliato, con sella e codino creati a mano, verniciatura bianco opaco con solo i colori dell’Arizona più lucidi, motore lucidato con filtro aria aperto, scarichi artigianali che partono stretti per poi allargarsi e deflettore per attutire il suono, manubrio girato verso il basso, retrotreno rialzato di 13″ e anteriore abbassato di 2″. Ottimo lavoro…
