Da Taiwan arriva una nuova special, questa volta basata su una moto desiderata da molti la ormai mitica BMW R Nine T modificata dal nostro amico Winston Yeh in modo unico pur mantenendo sempre lo stile inconfondibile Rough Crafts.
Lo stesso Winston dice “La Bavarian Fistfighter è un omaggio al passato, mescolato con la tecnologia moderna” ed è infatti l’essenza di questa moto lo si vede in ogni dettaglio. Guardiamola più nei dettagli, il serbatoio del carburante in alluminio prende in prestito linee di fine degli anni ’70 primi anni ’80 ma ci sono vari pezzi dei nostri giorni come la pompa del carburante, la batteria e l’elettronica, il cupolino poi è vagamente modellato sul omonimo della R 90. Fanale Rough Crafts, così come la sella che è un omaggio alla BMW anni 50.
Altri pezzi sono stati acquistati specificatamente per il progetto di altri marchi come i dischi freno misura 330 millimetri, controlli Beringer, e un ammortizzatore posteriore personalizzato da Gears Racing. Pneumatico molto hard slick Diablo Superbike forniti da Pirelli Taiwan mantengono la gomma sulla strada al massimo (se non piove), verniciatura ottima realizzata da OneHandMade. Il tutto per un totale di 110 cavalli… Un gran lavboro!
