Eccoci ad ammirare un’altra tedeschina, una BMW R65 completamente rivisitata a modo loro dai ragazzi di Delux Motorcycles una coppia di appassionati customizer in Sicilia.
Lo stile è molto particolare e il fascino di altri tempi è evidente, un gran lavoro di stile, minimale ma efficace che ha riportato questa moto all’essenza della passione di ogni biker old style, con quel serbatoio artigianale e il sellino minimal. Ma sentiamo una descrizione direttamente dalle parole del nostro amico Gabriele di Delux Motorcycles: “Un prototipo su base BMW R65. Creata da due bravi ragazzi uniti dalla stessa passione tra cui il surf lo skateboard, la musica rock, RNB. La Moto è stata acquistata nel lontano 1983. Nei suoi 33 anni di vita ha avuto molti proprietari. E ‘stata ritrovata in un vecchio mangiatoio con tonnellate di polvere e piena di ruggine.
Ora è stata personalizzata radicalmente in stile MAD MAX. Il serbatoio è artigianale, il telaio e’ stato completamente alleggerito. Nessuna strumentazione. Nel progetto abbiamo sempre seguito l’idea di tenere una compattezza e un semplicità pari ad una bicicletta. Inoltre è maneggevole, e difficile da credere molto confortevole.”
