Diamo uno sguardo a questo stupendo modello di Harley Davidson custom Flathead del 1942 appartenente ad un fortunato biker tedesco, modificato molto bene in stile Bobber.
La moto in questi anni ha avuto più proprietari e dalle informazioni che si hanno è sicuro che il motore, la trasmissione, il telaio, la bellissima forcella springer e il serbatoio sono originali d3ell’epoca, tutti pezzi fondamenteali e che rendono la moto di valore. La ristrutturazione avvenuta recentemente ha portato a sostituire alcuni componenti deteriorati dagli anni tra cui il magneto Joe Hunt, le molle della forcella, la sella, le pedane, e lo scarico WRTT, mentre i pneumatici Shinko Classic Series sono del tipo MT 90-16.
Il lavoro fatto è stato ottimo e lo vediamo chiaramente da queste foto della WLA Liberator del 1942 Bobber che è una vera e propria moto old school. Il parafango posteriore è stato modificato e accorciato in modo da rendere più visibile il pneumatico Shinko Classic Series, questo è un dettaglio voluto che fa molto old school bobber. In ultima analisi possiamo dire che è stata realizzata una gran moto e un ottimo lavoro di modifica.
