Dobbiamo andare indietro di molti anni per arrivare al momento in cui questa moto è uscita dalla fabbrica Milwaukee, precisamente poco dopo la fine della guerra, il mondo tentava una ripresa e la Harley Davidson non era da meno, producendo moto come questa.
In realtà il modello che vediamo qui di originale ha ben poco, perchè come vedete bene è completamente modificata dai ragazzi di Iron Borne, che hanno realizzato questa special sul tema Bonnie e Clyde, di cui si vedono alcune immagini e rievocazioni qua e la sulla moto. La famosa coppia di criminali degli anni 30 perennemente in fuga e tra i più grandi ricercati in USA di quel periodo.
Questa UL 1200 che nasce poco dopo l’epilogo della coppia criminale, vuole riprendere parte di quella storia e periodo storico, motore originale rivisto e rinnovato, poi tutto il resto è un’insieme di pezzi con parecchi anni sulle spalle, come il fanale si un’auto anni 30, da notare il terminale di scarico esagerato, i parafanghi esuberanti forse un po troppo e il serbatoio ricoperto di effigi storiche.
