Ormai la conoscete tutti immagino, la bellissima Moto Guzzi MGX 21, la bagger di Mandello costruita nello storico impianto sul Lario che nasce sull’ottima base della Moto Guzzi California 1400.
Esteticamente fa sempre un’ottima impressione, imponente, ben fatta e rifinita con stile, curata nei particolari e soprattutto con le molte parti in carbonio da quell’idea di tecnologico e di special, con quel cupolone che sembra incorporare 2 ali pronte a far spiccare il volo non a caso è stato dato il soprannome di Flying Fortness cioè fortezza volante.
Sotto il vestito nero vediamo l’apprezzato bicilindrico a V trasversale di 1.380 cc, capace di erogare 96 cavalli a 6.500 giri e forte di ben 120 Nm già dai bassi regimi. È un motore Euro 4 e dispone del sistema ride by wire, che porta con sé tre mappature (veloce, turismo e pioggia) e il controllo di trazione. Il cambio ha 6 rapporti e la trasmissione finale è ad albero. Ovviamente dispone di ABS e il cruise control.
