Ammiriamo oggi questo splendido panhead del 48, uno dei primissimi anni in cui veniva prodotto questo motore che è stato montato su modelli Harley fino alla metà degli anni 60. Questo lavoro è stato realizzato da Jamesville grande customizer del panorama internazionale.
Il lavoro ha riguardato gran parte della moto, a cominciare dal motore che è stato rivisto completamente, anche i freni sono stati rifatti in quanto danneggiati e la forcella posteriore sostituita in quando era addirittura crepata, del resto la moto ha i suoi anni e si facevano sentire… Il parafango posteriore è stato realizzato partendo da un parafango recuperato da una Ford del 1930, un mini Sissy bar è stato creato e cromato per sostenere il fanale posteriore vintage. I tubi di scarico dritti e aperti sono stati completati con silenziatori in stile tromba , che danno un suono eccezzionale!
Diverse parti che erano originariamente cromate sono state decromate e in seguito Parkerizzate. Per il colore della moto è stato scelto un blu petrolio in stile e tutti i cavi ovviamente sono stati sostiuiti con cavetteria in stile vintage, che collegano anche i vari fanali e componenti elettrici nuovi. Il risultato finale secondo me è ottimo e le foto che vediamo qui ci mostrano al meglio tutta la sua bellezza vintage!
