Per questo prototipo special la Harley Davidson ha dato libero sfogo al team Roland Sands per realizzare una moto a sua immagine basata su una sportster HD 1200, Rolad non avendo limiti di tempo e modifiche ha creato quella che vediamo in queste foto dove ha fatto largo uso di suoi componenti e nuovi articoli della serie Machine-Ops finish, il risultato è questa splendida MotoUSA Sportster 48 Street Tracker.
Come sempre, Roland mette nei suoi lavori dei richiami alla tradizione Dirt Track e anche qui vediamo una giusta dose di brio classico di Street Tracker soprattutto nellla sezione del serbatoio e nella coda , entrambi dei quali sono stati progettati e costruiti appositamente per questo progetto, poi messi anche in produzione per commercializzarli. Il motore è un 1200cc V-Twin , anche se hanno aggiunto un po di potenza con un kit di aspirazione RSD Slant fibra di carbonio , accensione Vance & Hines LCS Fuelpack e scarichi personalizzati Slant 2 – in – 2.
Sia le ruote posteriori ( da 19 pollici RSD Slam ) e anteriore presentano la finitura Ops macchine dalle foto si vede chiaramente la profondità offerta della trama dei cerchi. I dischi e le corone anteriori e posteriori evidenziano la finitura OPS , così come la RSD Tracker Grips , e il fanale “Nostalgia”. Il frontale presenta una forcella OEM Harley Nightster con Ghette, Progressive Springs e calibratori con precarico RSD, mentre sul retro una coppia di ammortizzatori serie Progressive Suspension 970 13.5 pollici assorbe gli urti. Il manubrio RSD ProStep 4 “(Black OPS) sono impostato basso è abbastanza indietro per consentire una posizione di guida eretta, mentre le pedane e comandi RSD mantengono i piedi del pilota proprio sotto il manubrio. Per finire vediamo la colorazione di un sottile ma imponente Nero, con foglia d’Oro e schema Silver Leaf.
